This Valentine's season, our Discovery Pride Pack students are spreading love beyond our school walls!
On Wednesday afternoon, our students dedicated their time to creating special goody bags for residents at a local nursing home. With thoughtful care, they colored and decorated personalized pictures, then filled each bag with items chosen to bring comfort and joy: fuzzy socks for warmth, lotion and chapstick for self-care, word search books for entertainment, heart-shaped stress balls, and a "positive potato" nightstand companion to remind each resident that they are thought of and valued.
Every item was selected and packed with intention—our students wanted to ensure that our senior community members feel the love this Valentine's Day. It's inspiring to see young people taking time to brighten the days of others and build connections across generations.
